For the past 15 years PeoplePlus has maintained records of supplier contracts with a bespoke system based on a combination of Microsoft Access and Windows file storage. During that time the company has grown considerably and following the merger of A4e and Avanta businesses in July 2015 the company saw an opportunity to move to a system that is more robust and would offer greater scope for the future.
Proactis Supplier Portal was implemented with a number of key objectives:
- to be used across the group that includes the former EOS, Avanta and A4e businesses
- hold all relevant data in one place
- store information about all contracts with funders, sub-contractors, and suppliers of goods and services
- allow the business to enquire and report on contracts
