RHN has upgraded to the latest versions of Infor SunSystems, Q&A and Proactis P2P software. The upgrade was driven by a desire to benefit from new features in the software such as new mobile apps and also to move IT infrastructure forward onto the latest Microsoft platforms.
Michael Lewis, Management Accountant, outlines the reasons for their investment:
"The benefits are clear. Upgrading means we can take advantage of functional enhancements that have come along since our system was installed. It also means that we keep step with updates in database and operating systems.
Reflecting on a successful completion of the project, Michael makes the following comments:
"The project was well organised. There was minimal disruption to our day to day responsibilities, we worked well with the LAKE consultant and we hit every deadline."
The RHN is a charity, independent from the NHS but working closely with it, to provide the best possible care for people living with neuro-disability.
